The Thanksgiving Parrot
A young man named John received a parrot as an early Christmas gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary. Every word out ofthe bird's mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity. John tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else he could think of to'clean up' the bird's vocabulary.Finally, John was fed up and he yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back. John shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even ruder.John, in desperation, threw up his hands, grabbed the bird and shoved him inthe freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed. Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep was heard for over a minute. Fearing that he'd hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to thefreezer. The parrot calmly stepped out onto John's outstretched arms and said 'I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions.I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior.'John was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude. As he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, the bird continued.... ........"May I inquire as to what the turkey did?'

Men in Earrings
No one symbol of a major change in our culture in my mind than men in earrings. Reminds me of the Monte Python film, "Men in Tights".
Could this signal the downfall of western civilization, the feminization of men?
On a business trip, had a big Texan traveling with me once warn a young earring wearing feller not "to wear that damn earring in Texas". He ask why, and my Texas friend said, "we foak anything wearing earrings in Texas". Sometimes you just got to hit'em with a two-by-four, so they 'get it'. I don't think these boys know how sissy they appear to non-feminized men. As Jerry Seinfeld was referred to in one episode when he started carrying a purse, a 'fancy boy'.
To fellow men who wear them....your really not all that cute. Unless of course, you come to Texas.
You know what the three biggests lies in Texas are?

Closing Gitmo & Other Insanity
The ACLU will finally have their way, moving terrorists out of Gitmo and try them in US Courts with full Constitutional rights and taxpayer funded lawyers..
This was apparently both the goal of the Democrat and Republican nominees for President.
Another reason McCain lost, by the way.
I guess we'll eventually find them innocent on a technicality, i.e. to prevent revealing National Security secrets, then turn them loose in the USA, and hopefully they'll settle in San Francisco with the rest of the misfit toys. Isn't America great. Take up arms against our country, kill Americans, and get US residency, maybe even a Government job, loan..maybe even an apology in the form of a civil settlement. The Mexican drug dealer our agents righteously shot in the ass got about 5 Mil, no telling what liberal courts and scum sucking lawyers will get out of this deal.
Perhaps they can even get a chair at the University where Bill Ayers teaches in Chicago.
This just in.... Janet Reno's sidekick is the new Attorney General. I've got to stop, my fun meter is pegging out. Eric Holder, was intimately involved in the Mark Rich pardon, so Clinton could get his library financed by the rich Richs.

Ya know, I am really taken back by this talk of Hillary Clinton becoming Obama's Sec. of State. I had this insane idea that Obama might just get the Gaffemeister (Joe Biden) to step down before 2012, and he would ask the Senior Senator from NY to join the ticket for the second run at the White House. I just had this suspicion that this may have been part of the deal all along. After all, Biden almost apologized for being the nominee earlier.
If Hillary leaves now, old Rudy Giuliani might have a shot at the seat when it comes up for reelection. Not sure the Dems have another star in the wings.

Judicial Tyranny
It seems to me, that the United States has demonstrated it is increasingly divided over the roll of religion in society. As our country becomes more 'diverse', religions from many parts of the world have taken root here. The Christian faith, from the secularists point of view, gets lumped in with the rest. By lumping Christianity with other religions, secular humanists have been more successful in dismissing Christianity as another superstition. This view has also allowed revisionist historians to exclude the Christian heritage of America, and introduce secular humanist morality (sometimes assisted by liberal mainstream Christian Churches). Here are a couple of examples.
Hate crime legislation. Nothing more chilling to freedom of speech. A person can now be put in prison for thoughts and speech, or sued in a civil court, if the secular humanists decide its hateful. In Canada, these vehicles are being used to chill Churches from speaking out against the homosexual movement. Punishing hate speech is dangerous, as it allows whoever is in control of the central government to decide what speech is allowed or not allowed by declaring it hate.
Supreme Court Rulings: Separation of Church and State--the Everson decision of1947. This ruling, having the effect of bench legislation, has been used to silence Christians in the public square. Ironically, it seems to be used by courts to attack Christianity in particular, as it overlooks public displays of other faiths as wonderful demonstrations of our great diversity. We all know that the Constitution of the United States NEVER advocated the separation of church and state, and only prevented the National Government from ESTABLISHING a State religion. It seems the interpretation of the 1st Amendment has gone as far to imply a Bible sitting on a teachers desk as a violation of the establishment clause. Government, however, has gotten involved in establishing the new religion of Secular Humanism. This one ruling has done more damage to our culture and way of life in ways that would be difficult to measure.
A call to action is to work to insure the Everson decision is overturned. That should be the mission of every Christian in America. Once this outrage is remedied, rules on hate speech, local control of schools, and abortion on demand will collapse with it.

Participation Required
OK Conservatives,
Let's sit on our collective arses while liberals educate our children, run our school boards, sit on city councils, run our county boards, while we fish, hunt, golf, and watch football. Get this and synthesize it well.... until it becomes an annoying relapse of conscious....ready....here it comes.... GET OFF THE DAMN COUCH !!!!
Attend RNC meetings, speak out in city councils, run for local office, write letters to the editor, attend demonstrations, write and call your elected representatives...become an activist. For the sake of the country....do something, and stop standing around like assclowns waiting for someone else to act. As Barak Hussein said, our new socialist President, "we are who we've been waiting for".
Our founding fathers pledged their lives and sacred honor to build this nation, while we conservatives seem to be perfectly content to watch liberals, radicals, and socialists destroy it. The question I have for all of us is....when is enough...enough? We are all guilty, and I'm ashamed of myself, and all you who have stood by and let America take this nasty turn to the left should be as well. Get busy. We have a lot of work to do.
Democracy requires....NO DEMANDS...our participation. Pledge your lives, your sacred honor to this cause. This is not a game, its our country.

Can't Beat Democrats by Becoming One
If we don't get the faux conservatives out of the GOP decision making business, the GOP is screwed.
No one is more disappointed in George Bush than me. He sold himself as a "compassionate conservative" but that apparently meant that he was a moderate Republican. He barely beat John Kerry in 2004. If not for swift boat veterans exposing the lie of the John Kerry war hero narrative, Bush would have sorely failed.
George Bush, nor his father, are conservatives. They held a few socially conservative positions, but were not small government fiscal conservatives by any stretch of the imagination.
Now the GOP Rockefeller Republicans (Bushies) are totally delusional, blaming Sarah Palin for bringing down the ticket. Lets review:
1. Before Sarah Palin, money was not flowing in to the GOP, nor did John McCain generate enough volunteers to even man his campaign offices. After the Palin pick, money and volunteers flowed into the campaign, and McCain's poll numbers began to rise dramatically.
2. It was John McCain, who blew his growing lead after the Palin pick, suspending his campaign to march to Washington to help push through a highly unpopular 850 billion dollar bailout abortion. He once again welded himself to George Bush, and THAT represented the final misstep amplifying his earlier faux pas, when he stated that the economic fundementals were 'sound' (during the biggest 401K meltdown in history). That statement was as politically retarded as Cheneys public endorsement of John McCain. McCain's only response to the economy was Joe the Plumber, while Obama rolled out an array of respected economic advisors he was consulting to address the problem. It was John McCain that showed up to a economic gun fight with a squirt gun. Don't get me wrong, I like Joe, but McCain should have had his own economic plan and strategy.
3. It was John McCain that did not attack Obamas energy plan, holding back because of his own cap and trade global warming nonsense, while Sarah could only nibble around the edges (due to McCain campaign restraints). Energy policy drives the economy, and McCain's global warming views made any attacks on Obamas no drilling and no coal, no nuclear almost moot. The McCain opposition research on this issue was asleep at the switch.
4. It was also John McCain, who refused to introduce attacks directed at the Democrat party in general, against the Franks and Dodds, whose resistance to reforming Fannie and Freddie were low hanging fruit for GOP attacks.
5. It was John McCain who refused to attack the true character of Barack Obama, calling him a patriot, despite his nefarious associations with Rev. Wright, Ayers, Pflagar, Farakhan, and socialist groups.
6. It was John McCain who would not attack Obama on gay marriage and his fanatical support of abortion on demand. This was a 70% issue, and he left it on the table.
7. It was John McCain that didn't even bring up illegal immigration and border security, another 80% issue left on the table. Obama wants to issue driver licenses to illegals, and to leave that alone, is one in many examples of how foolishly McCain has run this campaign.

The Positive Spin
The bums have been thrown out. Hussein has little time to pull this together. His Herbert Hoover plan to raise taxes in a recession may be a problem. The DOW is crashing on the very thought, as every Walmart shopper braces for the worse Christmas season in decades. Can we depend on this liberal pretending to be moderate to do what he says with capital gains, income taxes, and cap and trade (sending gas and utility bills through the roof)? You betcha!. They'll be burning effigies of Hussein even in Pennsylvania.
On the positive side, we are witnessing GOP RINOs abandoning ship. Good riddance. Don't let the door hit you in the ass. Non-conservatives needn't apply. Sarah Palin, you are our future.

Polling
Why don't we do away with elections, and let the main stream media and polling companies decide who is President.
Nothing has been more toxic to our free elections than the steady cadence of polling. It drives millions and millions of spending on commercials. Pollsters then track like stock brokers minor trends or shifts in the "market" constantly measuring, evaluating, and pontificating on what all of it means. I'm sick of it frankly. Now, we also have this 'American Idol' mentality, where candidates must be rock stars as well. Never mind if they're qualified to carry the nuclear football, but rather are they good looking, do they use clever soundbites, etc. The media drives this, as qualifications are not intellectual, but emotional based on that candidates presentation and media savvy.
We are potentially about to elect the most inexperienced individual to the Presidency in our history. He looks and sounds good, but with a resume so shallow we don't know if can lead. We live in dangerous times, and I'm afraid its going to get more dangerous given the choice the American people are considering making.
The political divisions in the United States will become sharper, and I don't see any relief in site.

How depressing these time are.
In 1991, as a former cold warrior, I never thought I would see the fall of the Berlin Wall in my lifetime. I was so shocked at how quickly the Soviet Union collapsed. It seemed it happened all at once to most Americans, because the government owned Soviet media (Pravda) was a closed network that never reported the truth. You know, sorta like the U.S. media today.
I am shocked, again, that I may be witnessing the downfall of the United States by a socialist regime. A government that thinks wealth belongs to the Government, and not the people who developed it.
I cannot quite get my head around the idea that we are about to turn the nuclear football over to an inexperienced junior Senator, with radical ties to some of the worst people ever produced by America, and socialist ideals of redistributing wealth.
America is in great peril. The time for prayer is NOW. Let us prayer God will spare us from this fate, and restore our Nation.
