Other Clunkers in 2012

To dispute the establishment RINO narrative that it was "TEA Party" candidates like Akin and Angle that lost the Senate, lets talk about the establishment RINO candidates that also clunked in 2012.

1. Mitt Romney. Presidential race - loser.
2 . Connie Mack. Florida Senate race - loser.
3. George Allen. Virginia Senate race - loser
4. Tommy Thompson. Wisconsin Senate race - loser.
5. Heather Wilson. New Mexico Senate race - loser.
6. Linda Mahon. Connecticut Senate race - loser.
7. Pete Hoekstra. Michigan Senate race- loser.
8. Rick Berg. North Dakota Senate race - loser.
9. Scott Brown. Massachusetts Senate race - loser.
10.Denny Rehberg. Montana Senate race - loser.
11. Linda Lingle. Hawaii Senate race - loser.

Obama is a Socialist

Thomas Peterffy grew up in Socialist Hungary, immigrated to the US and became a successful broker. He knows first hand that Socialism robs individuals of their economic liberty and initiative to work and achieve.

Rick Perry...Is He a Conservative.?

I think Rick Perry has conservative views on capital punishment, taxes, and abortion. However, I have grave concerns about his Democrat past. He certainly can never claim to be a former Reagan Democrat, as he stood against President Reagan twice. After the disaster that was the Jimmy Carter first term, Perry stood with Carter for a second bite at the apple.

After President Reagan's first term, Perry stood against him again as part of the "Walter Mondale for President" campaign in Texas. As though that wasn't enough, he ran against Reagan's Vice President Herbert (George) Bush as Albert Gore's campaign manager.

I still don't appreciate or understand why, even in 2008, that Perry endorsed one of the most socially liberal candidates in the race, Rudy Giuliani. In his governance of Texas, he stubbornly stood against parental rights by writing an edict (executive order) to inject Gardisil (a anti-cancer vaccine) into twelve year old school girls. Gardisil only "worked" if the girls were sexually active. It took the State Legislature to write and pass a bill to turn off Perry's executive order. Despite parental outrage, Perry refused to recind his order.

The Texas corridor, the eminent domain confiscation of rancher land to hand over to a foreign company to build a toll road is another debacle Perry led. Once again, the Legislature turned him back. So much for private property rights.

Rick Perry also signed the Texas version of the Dream Act providing in-State tuition to illegal alien children (who meet specific requirements), and he continues to NOT support a fence on the border. The Texas Dream act is another one of those pieces of Legislation that acts as a magnet for illegal border crossers, and unfenced borders are easily crossed.

The history of Rick Perry certainly shows that he is stubborn. This is a trait that reminds me of our former President Bush, in terms of his lack of willingness to change the strategy in Iraq (i.e. stay the course). Perry is weak on border issues, is conflicted on eminent domain (for profit), conflicted on the issue of parental rights, and hasn't yet explained how his conservative epiphany came about after fighting the election and re-election of Ronald Reagan.

As Sarah Palin said, we need not worry so much about replacing Barack Obama, but "who and what we are replacing him with".

Why Should Iowa Decide...Again?

In the aftermath of the last Presidential election, "some" GOP hopefuls are sniffing around Iowa and New Hampshire. I for one am very tired of this drill. So the question is again, why should Iowa or New Hampshire decide who the nominee should be this time around? By the time the decision gets to the big States (i.e. Texas, or even crazy California), the decision is already made.

I can't stand the thought of another squishy neo-con who campaigns like George Wallace, but votes like George McGovern when he or she gets to Washington. If Micheal Steele is serious about listening to the Tea Party movement, then we need to start thinking about how we are going to keep independents and Democrats from deciding who the nominee is going to be. I'm talking about the foolishness of open primaries. The next primary, every Obama voter is going to vote in GOP primaries to nominate the most repugnant candidate (to Conservatives) in the field. We need a conservative populist, and one not too eager to reach across the aisle to sell out the people who worked so hard to put them in office.

Mitt Romney is an undependable conservative and certainly no populist. Tim Pawlenty is not a populist, and mostly a moderate. Ronald Reagan was a conservative and populist. Mike Huckabee is a conservative and populist. Sarah Palin is a conservative and populist. If we are going to win in 2012, we will need a populist. More importantly, we need a principled conservative.. Iowa should not decide. New Hamphire should not decide. Open primaries need to be closed to Republican voters. Why does the GOP establishment hate conservative populists? Who knows, but when they select big Government moderates like John McCain, they sink like a battleship.

Join the Crusade

To Congress: We are mad as hell, and we're coming for you.... Nancy and the rest of the Socialists . No more spending, no more cap and trade energy taxes, no more illegal immigration, no more government takeovers of corporations, no moving Gitmo terrorists to the USA, no more apologizing for our history, no more government promotion of homosexuality and immorality, and absolutely no takeover of our health care system.

REFORM Should be the 2012 Campaign Message.

I believe the GOP better start getting a message together, and I believe Palin had it. REFORM.
I've got the message....REFORM YOU CAN TRUST, REFORM YOU CAN VERIFY.

Hows that? A spin off of Ronald Reagan's famous chestnut, Trust but Verify. I believe it originally came from a Russian proverb, but it works nonetheless.

Reform to the fair tax and make our exports competitive again and put Americans back to work. Get rid of the IRS.

Reform Government, whittling it back as fast as we can. Get rid of the Department of Education and give those dollars back to the States.

Reform Energy Policy, making us independent of oil by domestic production, nuclear power, clean coal, and leverage wind/solar where it might make sense.

Reform SEC to better regulate business and securities fraud.

Reform the CNA, and loan only to those who can pay it back.

Reform spending, and finally passing a line item veto for Federal budgets.

Reform the Government by establishing, by referendum, that the federal Government has limits and will not effect the free market exchange of goods. Reaffirm the 10th Amendment of the Constitution.

Can you add to this Reform platform?
