WHEN, in the Course of human Events, it becomes necessary for one People to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume, among the Powers of the Earth, the separate and equal Station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's GOD entitle them, a decent Respect to the Opinions of Mankind requires that they should declare the Causes which impel them to the Separation.
Politics, Religion, Conservative, Tea Party.
The terrorist trials in NY are designed for one purpose, to put the Bush administration on trial. The terrorist's attorneys will issue subpoenas to Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Donald Rumsfeld, and even perhaps former President George W. Bush. Here is the opportunity to put the entire administration on trial. The intent at the very least would be to embarrass all former Bush advisers and cabinet members, perhaps to force them to claim 5th Amendment rights to avoid disclosing sensitive information. This is Chicago style politics. Additionally, this gives the terrorists themselves a platform to eviscerate the USA for their own purposes.
I am no fan of Rumsfeld or Cheney, but this is outragious. Giving our precious Constitutional rights to foreign terrorists picked up on a foreign battlefields is insane. Keep Gitmo. Use military tribunals. No sane person believes that closure of Gitmo will have any impact on how terrorists or people in the middle east consider America. Only the weak and feckless Europeans are impressed by our unilateral disarment. Only the Europeans adore how we self despise our own National heritage. Piss on them. Piss on the liberals who accomodate them.
I love America. I love the idea of America. I want America to be a strong vital force for good. I think there is no other place like America, and has saved the World from its own foolishness several times...God Bless America.
So much for the President that promised he was going to unite the country. We deserve a better leader than Barrack Hussein Obama....mmm...mmm...mmm.
Last Thursday, I was sitting in an office when the alarms went off at Fort Hood Texas. Immediately rumors started to fly, from some colleagues who had friends working at Darnell, that an attack was underway with mass casualties. Calls were made to lock doors, to shut off heating and air conditioning systems, then orders coming through loud speakers and the phone to stay off the streets. No one new exactly the extent of the attack, who was involved, how many, and what type of weapons they had.
As it turned out, it was bad, although isolated. This was the worst terrorist attack on a military installation inside the United States. Although the media (and Obama) chooses to cover this up as another case of a 'whacked out' disgruntled US service member who was victimized by anti-Muslim ridicule (all lies), the fact remains that this American born raghead decided to side with the Islamic terrorists and attack the very country that nurtured him. The liberal media will continue to portray this piece of shit as a victim, much like they do in their babbling about all the so-called 'innocent' Iraqi's and Afghan's killed by the awful US military. This Hasan character was a red blinking light, and no one did anything about his anti-American statements. He was not fit to be in uniform, let alone fit to live among us. Islam is incompatible with civilization. The sooner we realize this, the better.
I am capable of defending myself, but my own Government decided that it was unsafe for me, and all the soldiers that were killed or wounded to carry personal protection on a military base. They are dead, and I was simply lucky. I was lucky I wasn't standing in the wrong place at the wrong time. When seconds count, the authorities are always several minutes away. Had at least one person in that room had self defense, perhaps many more would be alive. We never learn.
If this song (hypothetically) represents the Democrat's sorry ass version of health care reform, then John Bulushi's response represents the American people's reaction to it.
I've been out of town the last couple of weeks and have been unable to post. I've spent a week in Atlanta, then on to Virginia. I'm very excited about the Governor's race. Since BO's inauguration, my optimism is returning. Not to mention the Congressional race in New York...
The Tea Party Movement is making a difference. The country club Republicans better get the hell out of the way. Who are the leaders of the movement....individual patriots all over the country.....WE, THE PEOPLE. Who is echoing their powerful voices....Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin, Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh...
If the Conservative candidate in the New York congressional race beats both the liberal Democrat and Liberal Republican, Game ON. With the election a few days away, the latest polling, alaRealClearPolitics.com, shows Hoffman gaining ground. Scozzafava led in late September, with 35% to 28% for Owens and 16% for Hoffman. As Hoffman took support away from Scozzafava, Owens took the lead over her by four to five points in mid-October. Now, with star endorsements from Palinetal, one poll has Hoffman leading with 31%, Owens at 27% and Scozzafava at 20%.
Spurred in part by the Columbine and Virginia Tech shootings, many school districts around the country adopted zero-tolerance policies on thepossession of weapons on school grounds. More recently, there has been growing debate over whether the policies have gone too far. But, based on the code of conduct for the Christina School District, where Zachary is a first grader, school officials had no choice. They had tosuspend him because, “regardless of possessor’s intent,” knives are banned. But the question on the minds of residents here is: Why do school officials not have more discretion in such cases? “Zachary wears a suit and tie some days to school by his own choice becausehe takes school so seriously,” said Debbie Christie, Zachary’s mother, who started a Web site, helpzachary.com, in hopes of recruiting supporters topressure the local school board at its next open meeting on Tuesday. “He is not some sort of threat to his classmates.”Still, some school administrators argue that it is difficult to distinguish innocent pranks and mistakes from more serious threats, and that the policies must be strict to protect students.“There is no parent who wants to get a phone call where they hear that their child no longer has two good seeing eyes because there was a scuffle and someone pulled out a knife,” said George Evans, the president of the Christina district’s school board. He defended the decision, but added that the board might adjust the rules when it comes to younger children like Zachary.
Critics contend that zero-tolerance policies like those in the Christina district have led to sharp increases in suspensions and expulsions, oftenputting children on the streets or in other places where their behavior onlyworsens, and that the policies undermine the ability of school officials touse common sense in handling minor infractions. For Delaware, Zachary’s case is especially frustrating because last yearstate lawmakers tried to make disciplinary rules more flexible by giving local boards authority to, “on a case-by-case basis, modify the terms of the expulsion.” The law was introduced after a third-grade girl was expelled for a year because her grandmother had sent a birthday cake to school, along with a knife to cut it. The teacher called the principal — but not before using the knife to cut and serve the cake. In Zachary’s case, the state’s new law did not help because it mentions only expulsion and does not explicitly address suspensions. A revised law is being drafted to include suspensions.“We didn’t want our son becoming the poster child for this,” Ms. Christie said, “but this is out of control.” In a letter to the district’s disciplinary committee, State RepresentativeTeresa L. Schooley, Democrat of Newark, wrote, “I am asking each of you to consider the situation, get all the facts, find out about Zach and his family and then act with common sense for the well-being of this child.”
Education experts say that zero-tolerance policies initially allowed authorities more leeway in punishing students, but were applied in adiscriminatory fashion. Many studies indicate that African-Americans were several times more likely to be suspended or expelled than other students for the same offenses. “The result of those studies is that more school districts have removed discretion in applying the disciplinary policies to avoid criticism of being biased,” said Ronnie Casella, an associate professor of education at Central Connecticut State University who has written about school violence. He added that there is no evidence that zero-tolerance policies make schools safer. Other school districts are also trying to address problems they say have stemmed in part from overly strict zero-tolerance policies. In Baltimore, around 10,000 students, about 12 percent of the city’senrollment, were suspended during the 2006-7 school year, mostly for disruption and insubordination, according to a report by the Open SocietyInstitute-Baltimore. School officials there are rewriting the disciplinarycode, to route students to counseling rather than suspension. In Milwaukee, where school officials reported that 40 percent of ninth graders had been suspended at least once in the 2006-7 school year, the superintendent has encouraged teachers not to overreact to student misconduct. “Something has to change,” said Dodi Herbert, whose 13-year old son, Kyle, was suspended in May and ordered to attend the Christina district’s reform school for 45 days after another student dropped a pocket knife in his lap.
School officials declined to comment on the case for reasons of privacy. Ms. Herbert, who said her son was a straight-A student, has since beenhome-schooling him instead of sending him to the reform school. The Christina school district attracted similar controversy in 2007 when itexpelled a seventh-grade girl who had used a utility knife to cut windows out of a paper house for a class project.Charles P. Ewing, a professor of law and psychology at the University atBuffalo Law School who has written about school safety issues, said hefavored a strict zero-tolerance approach. “There are still serious threats every day in schools,” Dr. Ewing said, adding that giving school officials discretion holds the potential for discrimination and requires the kind of threat assessments that only law enforcement is equipped to make. In the 2005-6 school year, 86 percent of public schools reported at leastone violent crime, theft or other crime, according to the most recent federal survey. And yet, federal studies by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and another by the Department of Justice show that the rate ofschool-related homicides and nonfatal violence has fallen over most of thepast decade. Educational experts say the decline is less a result of zero-tolerance policies than of other programs like peer mediation, student support groupsand adult mentorships, as well as an overall decrease in all forms of crime. For Zachary, it is not school violence that has left him reluctant to return to classes. “I just think the other kids may tease me for being in trouble,” he said, pausing before adding, “but I think the rules are what is wrong, not me.”
This is the insanity lawyers cause. We need lawsuit reform, not only in matters such as this, but health care reform. It has to much harder to sue, otherwise this kind of insanity will continue. 1000 lawyers at the bottom of the ocean is not even close to a good start.
A new insidious hate crime bill is making its way through Congress attached to a defense spending bill. Watch out, as this will chill free speech forever. This type of law was used in Canada and other countries to prevent Christian minister's from objecting to homosexual lifestyles. To speak out against homosexuality can be interpreted as a hate crime in Canada, Sweden, and other places where this attack to free and open debate flourishes. Next, the environmentalist wackos will make it an environmental hate crime to criticise their junk science. If you want to do something, send Congress, all members, a pink slip.

This pink slip registers your opposition to not only hate crimes pedophilia protection act, but to cap and tax, and Government run health care. It would cost nearly 300 bucks to mail correspondence to every member of Congress, but you can do it for less than 30 dollars. Go here to send a pink slip to the ENTIRE Congress. Get moving, get off the couch, get in the fight!!!!

THESE NEW TAXES AND THE SOCIALIST MEASURES BEING PROPOSED WILL COST YOU FAR MORE THAN 30 BUCKS, MY FRIENDS.
Maybe this is more fun than good. If you're deeply depressed about the Socialist takeover of our Government, perhaps this happy little tune will help you recall better times. Then get up and resume the fight. Every bullet counts.
Wall Street Journal's former Detroit reporter Paul Ingrassia, reports on the failed marriage between the UAW and GM management:
"Saturn's chief UAW apostle was Donald Ephlin, the visionary head of the union's GM department who passed away in 2000. Ephlin strongly believed that Detroit's auto makers and the UAW had to change from confrontation to collaboration.
Thus the Saturn contract, built on the Memorandum of Understanding, eliminated most of the work rules that strictly limit the tasks UAW members can perform. Workers would be called "technicians" and get just 80% of standard UAW wages but would share in Saturn's profits, allowing them to earn more if Saturn succeeded. Most Saturn executives and managers would be assigned a UAW counterpart, and the two would share in key decisions. The latter provision was overly idealistic, but certainly an improvement over constant and costly combat. Nonetheless, Saturn's labor innovations were attacked by UAW traditionalists, who coined the term "Ephlinism" to describe Saturn's heresies. Ephlin retired, on the defensive, in 1989. Mr. Smith retired a year later, his reputation besmirched by GM's chronic underperformance, just before Saturn built its first cars". Okay...the Saturn...the WE car (womens entertainment) car concept...with "no hassle" negotiation. Sweet, kind, and plastic. If any male wanted to chop at least an inch off his manhood, driving a WE car was the road to that end. No one can resurrect this stinking corpse, and GM is a zombie eatting off the living tissue of the American taxpayer. In fact, Detroit is the "Land of the Zombies". The economy didn't destroy the auto industry, the UAW and bad management did.
AARP is trying to kill its current members with its support of Obamacare. Unfortunately, many unhappy AARP members bought 3 year memberships, or even life memberships to this leftwing organization and can't easily leave. The AARP is much like ACORN, SEIU, UAW, Rainbow Coalition, who are hiding their political affiliations using tax free money. This video does a very good job, using edgy humor, to discredit much of what was put forward by MoveOn.org. The Will Ferrel ad was nothing more than cheer leading for the DNC health care bill while demonizing insurance companies. No one argues that health care reform is needed, but a Government takeover will not fix the problem. The GOP has a plan, and it makes sense. Why they didn't address it years ago is a fair question. However, what is important is what is the best thing to do now. In this case, a free market solution is what is needed. Here are some of my ideas:
1. Make it illegal to discriminate for pre-existing conditions. I know, this isn't so 'free market'. However, nothing makes it so difficult or impossible to change jobs or do something more useful in the ecomony than loosing health insurance after a diagnosis. Many patients, who have chronic conditiona that are easily and economically treated, or cancer survivors doing well cannot get insurance on the private market. In many cases, these people are healthier than the undiagnosed population at large because of their new found interests in diet, exercise, and following medical prescriptions. Discriminating against them and favoring undiagnosed walking time bombs doesn't seem right to me. Everyone is one diagnosis away from not being able to buy insurance, so we need to consider whether to continue to exclude these folks to be in the long term interest of our economy.
2. Allow you to shop outside your State for insurance. Nothing lowers costs better than competition. Instead of 10 or less insurance companies to chose from, you have hundreds. You ask yourself why don't States want you to do this? Its really very simple. In primarily BLUE States, the liberal legislatures and insurance regulators require their insurance companies to cover everything from Abortion to Viagra. If you just want hospitalization insurance with a drug prescription component, you can't by it. Some States require insurance policies to cover mental illness...so if you live in those States, your FORCED to subsidize these things whether you want to or not. Your subsidization of those unwanted services makes your insurance premiums sky high. Once again, blame the liberals. Why should your family subsidize Viagra prescriptions because of some geezer's woody problem? I'm just sayin. Sorry geezers, but most of you can afford to buy this stuff out of of pocket or you can buy more expensive insurance to cover it. Don't make the rest of us subsidize it. Folks, out of State shopping will allow you to go around your liberal State legislature and regulators to find a policy that's right for you, and one you can afford. I think, along these lines, we should go to a cash basis for routine care, and have insurance for surgeries, hospitalization, and catastrophic care. When I was growing up, you paid the Doctor directly for checkups, and had insurance for more serious problems. It was a better deal than including routine care inside an insurance premium. If your paying 500-1000 per month for individual/family coverage that includes routine care, what about instead paying 250-500 per month, and a 50-70 dollars cash fee for a Doctor's visit. You'll find its really a better bargain, especially if go one, two, or three times a year.
3. Allow citizens to purchase drugs from other countries. I've heard the safety issue used to thwart this...but do we believe in free enterprise or not? The individual must assume some responsibility if they buy prescription drugs that are not effective. Individual responsibility to evaluate the quality and risks....such a novel, American idea. The nanny State would of course reject this idea, but we must restore competition in the drug market. Many Americans already cross borders to buy meds at reduced cost, and this should be allowed for mail customers as well who do not live in border regions. Let free enterprise reign!!!
4. Reduce costly and endless testing for new drugs. If people wish to take experimental drugs, explain the risks and let them decide. Lets not front load the costs with unbelievably expensive studies that take years/decades to complete....so that when the imperial FDA decides its suitable for consumption...no one can afford it. Come on, no more 300 dollar pills. That insanity must stop. Allow people to decide whats best for them given the truth about the risks of all experimental drugs. Let responsible adults decide for themselves!!!
5. Allow people to deduct the cost of insurance premiums from their income tax. How simple is that? If corporations can do this, why can't individuals? Current law makes no sense.
6. Allow health savings accounts that roll over. Why should you loose money, as it is now, if you don't spend the full amount in a given year? That's ridiculous.
7. Law suit reform (Tort Reform). Lawyers are adding billions in cost to our health care system. We need to hold doctors and hospitals responsible for mistakes, but what is going on now is ludicrous. Yes, people who suffer need to have their medical needs taken care of, and any income losses replaced if they can't work or are disabled. No more jackpot justice. The former Presidential candidate John Edwards made million upon millions of dollars chasing ambulances. Who paid for John Edwards 28,000 square foot mansion and 400 dollar haircuts.....we did. His legal wins were passed on to millions of insurance rate payers in higher premiums. That has to stop. Reasonable compensation yes, jackpot justice....hell no. PS, we also have to do a better job of getting bad doctors out of practice using a National database that will flag and prevent incompetents from crossing State lines after loosing their license.
All of these things will lower insurance cost, and create the free market we need...that doesn't exist today.

This was never reported in the MSM (reported in foreign media). It reflects the continued indoctrination of students by left wing teachers. Here, a teacher, who has a very poor command of the English language herself, attacks a poor little girl who's father is in the military. Again, parents need to find out what is going on in their children's classroom. Perhaps all of this is simply a small glimpse into why our kids are running behind the world in math and science scores. We spend more on education than any country and get the poorest result. See why here.
Government Motors, formerly General Motors, has a new add campaign offering a 60 day money back guarantee on their products. The idea, of course, is to reduce consumer risk in buying one of their cars over foreign products with a better reputation of quality and economy. Its certainly about time, but I have a major problem with it.
The problem is that its still a nationalized Government owned company. I'm still outraged that this Company came to the imperial Congress asking for our money to compensate for their mismanagement, but also from Union hacks to preserve their unsustainable benefits. All of us who owned mutual funds inside 401K plans that held old GM stock were thrown under the bus. No bail out for us, as old GM stock was rendered worthless. Not only did old GM stockholders pay taxes that bailed GM out; they paid again in old GM worthless stock.
Screw GM. I will never buy another GM car as long as I live, or as long as its a Government owned nationalized industry. Anything the UAW manufactures that WE purchase turns into subsidies to the DNC jackass party. I encourage others not to reward both the Government and the Unions that subsidized the DNC. Screw the Imperial Congress too, who didn't listen to us when we told them to stop bailing out badly managed companies. Screw them all.
Yes he can, and yes they did. If you have kids in school, you better start paying attention to the curriculum, the textbooks, and the political affiliations of the teachers. Using taxpayer funded teachers and school facilities to promote a political agenda is absolutely unacceptable. More here and here.
Will we ever see the last of Jimmy Carter? This babbling idiot, who very much like our current President, benefited from public anger against the incumbent Party to achieve political success. Once again, an unprepared weak politician was launched into the most powerful office in the world by simple fate. In Jimmy's day, it was President Gerald Ford. Gerald, appointed VP by Nixon after Agnew's resignation for corruption, later pardoned Nixon. This obviously created much angst throughout the country (the appearance of quid pro quo). The Jimmy Carter 'Southern Christian' image sold to eradicate Government corruption seemed to be a needed change in the country. Holy Mother Maybelle, what a phucking mistake we made. I made it too. I was in college, my first Presidential election to vote... my only defense was youth and a head full of mush. However, as fate would have it, I paid dearly for my mistake, as did the rest of the country. Is this scenario starting to sound familiar?
After graduation, the double digit inflation, double digit interest rates, unmerciful gas prices and lines, and devastating unemployment had me economically reeling and barely surviving in 1978. Not only was Jimmy Carter's domestic policy the Moby Dick of policy disasters, but his foreign policy was a major Charlie Foxtrot. His failure to support the American friendly Shah of Iran against the Islamic fascist Ayatollah Khomeini lead to the takeover of the American embassy. Held hostage for well over a year, that Embassy crisis put on world display the weak feckless third rate leadership of an American President.
Jimmy's anti-Semitism grows with his age, and his recent book, "Peace, Not Apartheid" is on the Osama Bin Laden best seller list. Yes, our former President's book was recommended reading for terrorists. Osama recently puked that out in a recently released tape. You might say, Jimmy Carter first gave Islamic fascists hope that they could dominate the world.
The similarities of Jimmy Carter foreign and domestic policies to the Obama administration are compelling and perhaps frightening. All that liberalism-socialism means is shared misery for all. My hope and prayer is a new generation will arise and see the danger. Perhaps the recent demonstrations on Washington are just the beginning of a movement to restore the Republic that politicians of both parties have been chipping away at for decades. Term limits, term limits, and term limits will curb corruption in the Government.
In the meantime, I just wish Jimmy Carter would STFU, just STFU, please please please STFU. For the record, I hate Jimmy Carter far worse than Obama....but then again Obama has only been in office a few months. I must admit I'm getting there however.....so call me a racist when Obama achieves equilibrium with Carter. I just don't phucking care what you liberals call me anymore. It just doesn't matter.
Need I say more. The Bush years on this chart (GRAY) INCLUDE Iraq and Afghanistan spending. The RED are the the OBAMA deficits. Hussein has tripled the deficit projections this year, and will double it in outgoing years. This isn't counting the Health Care debacle the Obamanator is foisting on us. Much more red would have to be added to illustrate that...
We are in big trouble if we don't make some changes in Congress in 2010 folks. Bush's spending was bad enough, but compared to Obama, Bush looks like a genius. Massive inflation is on the way. Inflation is the most insidious tax increase of all, when our dollar will have the purchasing power of the Mexican peso. Add to this mess the potential costs of the Cap and Trade (Crap and Tax) bill, which will make energy, manufacturing, and everything we buy in America cost more.
A Mexican, an Arab, and a Texas girl are in the same bar.
When the Mexican finishes his beer, he throws his glass in the air, pulls out his pistol, and shoots the glass to pieces. He says, 'In Mexico, our glasses are so cheap we don't need to drink with the same one twice.'
The Arab, obviously impressed by this, drinks non-alcohol beer (cuz he's a Muslim!), throws it into the air, pulls out his AK-47, and shoots the glass to pieces. He says, 'In the Arab World, we have so much sand to make glasses that we don't need to drink twice with the same glass either.'
The Texas girl, cool as a cucumber, picks up her beer, downs it in one gulp, throws the glass into the air, whips out her 45, and shoots the Mexican and the Arab. Catching her glass, setting it on the bar, and calling for a refill, she says, 'In Texas, we have so many illegal aliens that we don't have to drink with the same ones twice.'
SIMPLE QUESTION: Watch them RUN!!!....Watch them FUMBLE!!!....Watch the THUGS crowd you OUT!!!....Note even one says YOU will LOOSE the Medicare Advantage policy...Note that if there is NO rationing, you HEAR one SAY...He'll put a FENCE at the top of the hill to avoid the AVALANCHE below...no rationing, HUH??? I thought you would be able to keep your insurance???...Broken promises??. Is this change you voted for???
Shouldn't Presidents NOT send politically charged curriculum directly to the classroom? If Bush had done this, it would have been necessary to scrape the ACLU and liberal MSM off the ceiling. Prompting teachers to ask, "what is the President inspiring you to do?", or "how can you help the President?"....you've got to be kidding??? This one is out of Saul Alenski's playbook. Some apt words to describe this...frightening, sickening, creepy. I would expect something like this to occur in North Korea, but not the USA. Obama is not the "Dear Leader". Look at this one as well.
After screwing capitalist pigs, I always like to burn one.
