With Muslim populations on the move into Europe, sparks of resistance are growing. Around that resistance, young musical groups are forming a new genre of defiance. Although it is by definition, "racist", its still a fascinating thing to see emerge in socialist leaning Europe. Given the arrogance of Islam to build a mosque at ground zero, we all soon may be singing this song.

It really begs the question if we can live in a pluralistic society. New immigrant groups are refusing to assimilate, as there is a vast cultural divide. Tolerance may not be enough, as immigrants grow in political power and develop the means of influencing and/or directing Government. At that point, tolerance surrenders to the new oppressors of the new minority.

EDITOR'S NOTE: There is great need for setting the record straight on the
history of the Middle East. The revisionism of the last few years will lead
Western Civilization into bondage. The following letter by Assyrian scholar
Peter BetBasoo is a very important step in the right direction. It was sent
by Assyrian scholar Peter BetBasoo to Carly Fiorina, CEO of Hewlett Packard
Corporation, in response to a speech she presented in Minneapolis on
September 26, 2001. It is reprinted by permission. Please read and pass it
on to others.

Dear Madame Fiorina:

It is with great interest that I read your speech delivered on September 26,
2001, titled "Technology, Business and Our way of Life: What's Next" [sic].
I was particularly interested in the story you told at the end of your
speech, about the Arab/Muslim civilization. As an Assyrian, a non-Arab,
Christian native of the Middle East, whose ancestors reach back to 5000
B.C., I wish to clarify some points you made in this little story, and to
alert you to the dangers of unwittingly being drawn into the
Arabist/Islamist ideology, which seeks to assimilate all cultures and
religions into the Arab/Islamic fold.

I know you are a very busy woman, but please find ten minutes to read what
follows, as it is a perspective that you will not likely get from anywhere
else. I will answer some of the specific points you made in your speech,
then conclude with a brief perspective on this Arabist/Islamist ideology.

Arabs and Muslims appeared on the world scene in 630 A.D., when the armies
of Muhammad began their conquest of the Middle East. We should be very clear
that this was a military conquest, not a missionary enterprise, and through
the use of force, authorized by a declaration of a Jihad against infidels,
Arabs/Muslims were able to forcibly convert and assimilate non-Arabs and
non-Muslims into their fold. Very few indigenous communities of the Middle
East survived this - primarily Assyrians, Jews, Armenians and Coptics (of
Egypt).

Having conquered the Middle East, Arabs placed these communities under a
Dhimmi (see the book DHIMMI, by Bat Ye'Or) system of governance, where the
communities were allowed to rule themselves as religious minorities
(Christians, Jews and Zoroastrian). These communities had to pay a tax
(called a Jizzya in Arabic) that was, in effect, a penalty for being
non-Muslim, and that was typically 80% in times of tolerance and up to 150%
in times of oppression. This tax forced many of these communities to convert
to Islam, as it was designed to do.

You state, "its architects designed buildings that defied gravity." I am not
sure what you are referring to, but if you are referring to domes and
arches, the fundamental architectural breakthrough of using a parabolic
shape instead of a spherical shape for these structures was made by the
Assyrians more than 1300 years earlier, as evidenced by their archaeological
record.

You state,

"its mathematicians created the algebra and algorithms that would enable the
building of computers, and the creation of encryption."
The fundamental basis of modern mathematics had been laid down not hundreds
but thousands of years before by Assyrians and Babylonians, who already knew
of the concept of zero, of the Pythagorean Theorem, and of many, many other
developments expropriated by Arabs/Muslims (see HISTORY OF BABYLONIAN
MATHEMATICS by Otto E. Neugebauer).

You state,

"its doctors examined the human body, and found new cures for disease."

The overwhelming majority of these doctors (99%) were Assyrians. In the
fourth, fifth, and sixth centuries Assyrians began a systematic translation
of the Greek body of knowledge into Assyrian. At first, they concentrated on
the religious works but then quickly moved to science, philosophy and
medicine. Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Galen, and many others were translated
into Assyrian, and from Assyrian into Arabic. It is these Arabic
translations which the Moors brought with them into Spain, and which the
Spaniards translated into Latin and spread throughout Europe, thus igniting
the European Renaissance.

By the sixth century A.D., Assyrians had begun exporting back to Byzantia
their own works on science, philosophy and medicine. In the field of
medicine, the Bakhteesho Assyrian family produced nine generations of
physicians, and founded the great medical school at Gundeshapur (Iran). Also
in the area of medicine, (the Assyrian) Hunayn ibn-Ishaq's textbook on
ophthalmology, written in 950 A.D., remained the authoritative source on the
subject until 1800 A.D.

In the area of philosophy, the Assyrian philosopher Job of Edessa developed
a physical theory of the universe, in the Assyrian language, that rivaled
Aristotle's theory, and that sought to replace matter with forces (a theory
that anticipated some ideas in quantum mechanics, such as the spontaneous
creation and destruction of matter that occurs in the quantum vacuum).

One of the greatest Assyrian achievements of the fourth century was the
founding of the first university in the world, the School of Nisibis, which
had three departments, theology, philosophy and medicine, and which became a
magnet and center of intellectual development in the Middle East. The
statutes of the School of Nisibis, which have been preserved, later became
the model upon which the first Italian university was based (see THE
STATUTES OF THE SCHOOL OF NISIBIS by Arthur Voobus).

When Arabs and Islam swept through the Middle East in 630 A.D., they
encountered 600 years of Assyrian Christian civilization, with a rich
heritage, a highly developed culture, and advanced learning institutions. It
is this civilization that became the foundation of the Arab civilization.
You state,

"Its astronomers looked into the heavens, named the stars, and paved the way
for space travel and exploration."

This is a bit melodramatic. In fact, the astronomers you refer to were not
Arabs but Chaldeans and Babylonians (of present day south-Iraq), who for
millennia were known as astronomers and astrologers, and who were forcibly
Arabized and Islamized - so rapidly that by 750 A.D. they had disappeared
completely.

You state,

"its writers created thousands of stories. Stories of courage, romance and
magic. Its poets wrote of love, when others before them were too steeped in
fear to think of such things."

There is very little literature in the Arabic language that comes from this
period you are referring to (the Koran is the only significant piece of
literature), whereas the literary output of the Assyrians and Jews was vast.
The third largest corpus of Christian writing, after Latin and Greek, is by
the Assyrians in the Assyrian language (also called Syriac).

You state,

"when other nations were afraid of ideas, this civilization thrived on them,
and kept them alive. When censors threatened to wipe out knowledge from past
civilizations, this civilization kept the knowledge alive, and passed it on
to others."

This is a very important issue you raise, and it goes to the heart of the
matter of what Arab/Islamic civilization represents. I reviewed a book
titled HOW GREEK SCIENCE PASSED TO THE ARABS, in which author De Lacy
O'Leary lists the significant translators and interpreters of Greek science.
Of the 22 scholars listed, 20 were Assyrians, one was Persian and one an
Arab. I state at the end of my review:

"The salient conclusion which can be drawn from O'Leary's book is that
Assyrians played a significant role in the shaping of the Islamic world via
the Greek corpus of knowledge. If this is so, one must then ask the
question, what happened to the Christian communities which made them lose
this great intellectual enterprise they had established? One can ask this
same question of the Arabs. Sadly, O'Leary's book does not answer this
question, and we must look elsewhere for the answer."

I did not answer this question I posed in the review because it was not the
place to answer it, but the answer is very clear, the Christian Assyrian
community was drained of its population through forced conversion to Islam
(by the Jizzya), and once the community had dwindled below a critical
threshold, it ceased producing the scholars that were the intellectual
driving force of the Islamic civilization, and that is when the so called
"Golden Age of Islam" came to an end (about 850 A.D.).

Islam the religion itself was significantly molded by Assyrians and Jews
(see NESTORIAN INFLUENCE ON ISLAM and HAGARISM: THE MAKING OF THE ISLAMIC
WORLD).

Arab/Islamic civilization is not a progressive force, it is a regressive
force; it does not give impetus, it retards. The great civilization you
describe was not an Arab/Muslim accomplishment, it was an Assyrian
accomplishment that Arabs expropriated and subsequently lost when they
drained, through the forced conversion of Assyrians to Islam, the source of
the intellectual vitality that propelled it. What other Arab/Muslim
civilization has risen since? What other Arab/Muslim successes can we cite?

You state,

"and perhaps we can learn a lesson from his [Suleiman] example: It was
leadership based on meritocracy, not inheritance. It was leadership that
harnessed the full capabilities of a very diverse population that included
Christianity, Islamic, and Jewish traditions."

In fact, the Ottomans were extremely oppressive to non-Muslims. For example,
young Christian boys were forcefully taken from their families, usually at
the age of 8-10, and inducted into the Janissaries, (yeniceri in Turkish)
where they were Islamized and made to fight for the Ottoman state. What
literary, artistic or scientific achievements of the Ottomans can we point
to? We can, on the other hand, point to the genocide of 750,000 Assyrians,
1.5 million Armenians and 400,000 Greeks in World War One by the Kemalist
"Young Turk" government. This is the true face of Islam.

Arabs/Muslims are engaged in an explicit campaign of destruction and
expropriation of cultures and communities, identities and ideas. Wherever
Arab/Muslim civilization encounters a non-Arab/Muslim one, it attempts to
destroy it (as the Buddhist statues in Afghanistan were destroyed, as
Persepolis was destroyed by the Ayotollah Khomeini).

This is a pattern that has been recurring since the advent of Islam, 1400
years ago, and is amply substantiated by the historical record. If the
"foreign" culture cannot be destroyed, then it is expropriated, and
revisionist historians claim that it is and was Arab, as is the case of most
of the Arab "accomplishments" you cited in your speech. For example, Arab
history texts in the Middle East teach that Assyrians were Arabs, a fact
that no reputable scholar would assert, and that no living Assyrian would
accept. Assyrians first settled Nineveh, one of the major Assyrian cities,
in 5000 B.C., which is 5630 years before Arabs came into that area. Even the
word 'Arab' is an Assyrian word, meaning "Westerner" (the first written
reference to Arabs was by the Assyrian King Sennacherib, 800 B.C., in which
he tells of conquering the "ma'rabayeh" - Westerners. See THE MIGHT THAT WAS

Even in America this Arabization policy continues. On October 27th a
coalition of seven Assyrian and Maronite organizations sent an official
letter to the Arab American Institute asking it to stop identifying
Assyrians and Maronites as Arabs, which it had been deliberately doing.
There are minorities and nations struggling for survival in the Arab/Muslim
ocean of the Middle East and Africa (Assyrians, Armenians, Coptics, Jews,
southern Sudanese, Ethiopians, Nigerians...), and we must be very sensitive
not to unwittingly and inadvertently support Islamic fascism and Arab
Imperialism, with their attempts to wipe out all other cultures, religions
and civilizations. It is incumbent upon each one of us to do our homework
and research when making statements and speeches about these sensitive
matters.

The Armageddon coming will contest those who hold that rights are inalienable and the secular progressive statists who insist that no universal truth exists (therefore, it’s amendable). The Progressive line of thinking follows Nietzsche, and believe the force we call evil is simply "man the animal" slowly evolving. Progressives have latched on to the idea of race, as they are the premier racists who see everything in terms of race. Race is central to their line of thinking, in terms of man’s state, and what needs to be done to evolve the animal to a higher form of existence. It’s the grand experiment, that defines their politics and activism. In fact, progressives are ”ate up” with race. That is the first thing a progressive will notice about you.

Do you recall when tea parties were organizing; liberal focus was primarily on the tea partier's race, as it defined why “teabaggers” were protesting. This was Chris Matthew's single issue with the Tea Party. When you understand this about progressive liberals, everything they do is predictable. They classify those willing to accept their doctrine as enlightened, those who accept their help as oppressed and evolving, and those who oppose them hatefully bigoted. It is the Conservative who is not the bigot or racist, who expects every person to pick themselves up by their own bootstraps.

If those who are seen as helpless only understood how lowly and inferior progressive liberals benevolently see them, they would break the chain of dependence and stand up for themselves.

Nothing pisses me off more than the selfishness and self indulgence this incident represents. The parents, at a minimum, should be up on child endangerment charges. The idiot father said you can't over protect children, that we can't stop them from driving cars (for example) because they can be killed or injured. Are you kidding me? He equates a sixteen year old driving to the mall with sailing a small boat around the world in dangerous waters ALONE. Its a good thing this young girl didn't drift within the range of Somali pirates, or she would have had a much more significant problem than a broken mast section.

Reading the blogs, other idiots have commented this was a brave thing to do, it shows spine and the ol' pioneer spirit...following your dreams...blah...blah...blah. I learned a long time ago there is a big difference between bravery and stupidity. If these high adventure addicts had to pay the FULL cost of their rescues, perhaps it would give them pause. I got news for these folks, the pioneers and explorers of old did not call 911 or turn on distress beacons when things went south. Give me a break.

This is another example of stupid people doing stupid things, and the rest of us paying for it. I'm glad this young girl is saved, but I doubt that she or her parents have learned one thing from this experience.

Well America, we've finally done it….elected a President who has placed Marxist rabble rousers in his administration, who's embraced Saul Alinsky’s radical code of conduct, who's routinely ridiculed his own country on foreign soil, and who has managed to tripled the Bush deficits in less than two years. We are a great nation tumbling down, much like the twin towers on 9-11. I fear the Memorial Days and Momuments yet to come.

So, what the hell were we thinking? We are stuck in a great predicament of our own making. This is the purchase of white guilt and 50 years of political correctness. I look upon a nation that issues drivers tests in 12 different languages while tolerating political leaders that care more for the rights of invading Mexicans than American citizens they pretend to represent.

I feel like a stranger in a strange land. Certainly Judeo Christian values are still present in America, but our leaders and their minions no longer possess them. The Obama administration seems much like an occupying regime. Today I walk down the familiar streets of my childhood and observe signs written in foreign tongues and their rapid cadence also heard everywhere.

Even military leaders with whom I give much deference too, now speak the jargon of the Gay and special interest agenda. These values are as foreign to me as the languages spoken on American streets. My God, what happened to us? Our diversity has never been our strength. Diversity has always been something to overcome. Our strength has never been diversity, which is the fiction of white guilt. Strength comes from unity, and unity alone. It is achieved by overlooking diversity. Our unity is our strength….E pluribus unum,,,remember that? Out of many, one. Its found on the seal of the Presidency, Senate, and House of Representatives. Its original meaning suggests that out of many colonies or states emerged a single nation. Never mind the original meaning of that, the Constitution, or even Memorial Day.

When I can no longer look to the north, south, east or west , and see fellow countrymen… then I must revert back to tribal “clans” for political resolution and peace of mind. The United States is fragmenting or “balkanizing” into squabbling ethnic groups. You might as well join one for your own protection. The National Government, or what’s becoming of it, will no longer protect you or your children. As Governor Brewer of Arizona recently lamented, “a nation without borders is like a house without walls”… so they both eventually will collapse.

The last straw has finally fallen on the back of this American camel. I will not accept an Al Queda monument on near ground zero in NY. The Islamists will open it on 9-11, 2011. This is obviously an ‘in your face’ celebration of the jihad on sacred ground. If you don’t get this by now, you never will. Much must be done to resist the audacity of the Islamist movement, and President Barack Hussein Obama and his bolshevic administration do all they can to make it easier for Islamic radicals to establish a foothold on the American continent. Wake on this Memorial Day, America.

Kagan..General Thoughts

Hate crimes legislation is the next step by Stalinist leftists (Progressives) to stifle free speech in America. Stalin used to throw opponents in mental institutions. In the US, we call it mandatory "sensitivity training". If you're spewing speech the left doesn’t like, you may be a prime candidate for required sensitivity training (or known as reeducation camps in Commie circles).

Unelected judges ruling as tyrants will lead to trouble. If activist judges rule by fiat, and do not stick to strict constructionist principles, we will loose our freedom one ruling at a time.

We've had this kind of thing in America before. The Lincoln administration at one time went so far as to bar the use of the postal system for newspapers that disagreed with his administration. This of course ruined the newspapers. The Lincoln administration went still further and threw newspapermen in jail without charges. As you can imagine, he received great press once this policy went into effect. Too bad they were not clever enough to claim they were only stopping the spread of hate speech, then Lincoln would have been proclaimed a God.

An American conservative commentator was recently threatened in Canada with criminal prosecution for speaking her mind. Progressives are nothing but Stalinist leftists in disguise. They purport freedom of speech, as long as its speech they agree with. The USA isn’t Canada yet, but with judges like Kagan, we are not far away. Religious leaders have much to fear from Progressives gaining further inroads into our government and judiciary.

Boycott LA--BUYCOTT Arizona

All conservative organizations should cancel all contracts with the city of Los Angeles. This city, which is now a de-facto Mexican City... dirty, corrupt, and bankrupt... should be avoided at all costs. In this racist city, white people can easily get themselves killed should they venture into the wrong neighborhood. While traveling there on business several years ago, I made a wrong turn into Compton. The looks of hatred and anger I received while passing residents on the street was suffocating.

Needless to say, I got my white ass out of the AO as quickly as I could get the car turned around. Images of the Rodney King riots ran through my head, as white people driving through there were singled out, pulled out of their cars, and nearly beaten to death. As they give sanctuary to criminal aliens (i.e. MS-13) , the city is not safe for any European-American. The racism is horrific.The greatest blessing to the USA would be that both LA and San Francisco slip off into the Pacific ocean during the next earthquake.

BTW, notice Al Gore must not be worrying about Global Warming anymore, as he recently purchased a 9 million dollar mansion on the Pacific coast. Al was telling the rest of us that global warming would raise sea levels and flood the very area he is currently occupying. hmmm.

RINOs Playing Games Again

Lindsay Graham, our favorite RINO, has joined the chorus line of other pro-amnesty assholes criticising Arizona's new anti-illegal immigration law. He runs in front of a microphone and matter of factly states the new law is Unconstitutional. Unconstitutional, even though it mirrors Federal law. Imagine that. His good buddy and sometimes Conservative (when running for re-election) John McAmnesty is all for the new law. So now, for the first time John and Lindsay are at odds. It must be that Lindsay isn't running for re-election this cycle. Too bad for John, that he can't join his RINO collegue in opposition to Arizona's law.

I heard a Democratic Hispanic Congressman from Arizona is also calling for a boycott of his own State. Well, what a great idea. I'd like to suggest to Conservatives that we boycott the State of South Carolina until they vote that RINO bastard Lindsay Graham out of the Senate . We can spend our vacation money in Arizona, rather than the beaches of South Carolina. Haven't we had enough RINO game playing at our expense?

GM- A Example of What Happens When Government Runs Industry

GM has finally paid back the TARP bailout. The new CEO, Ed Whitacre , created a TV ad congratulating themselves on their progress. The Gaffe-O-Matic Vice President likewise continued with the happiness reporting. As it turned out, all of this was intended simply to blow sunshine up our ass.

Yes, we've been "had" again by the Obama administration, and its newest acquisition, GM (Government Motors). GM paid the taxpayers back with....are you ready...OUR OWN FREAKING MONEY!! GM took money out of a taxpayer funded escrow account, and paid us back with our own money. They are still operating at a loss, and have no earnings.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again. If any Conservative buys a GM car, your doing nothing but subsidizing Socialism. The UAW, which builds these cars, finances the DNC. The DNC has been taken over by Socialists, so any purchase of a GM car goes to that purpose.

I will never buy another GM car. This is a lifetime commitment for me. I will encourage all members of my family and friends to do likewise. The overtaxed US taxpayer will be facing huge deficits for decades to come, and Federal financing of GM is simply throwing good money down a deep and nasty rat hole. Don't ever let the Government convince you again that any business is too big to fail.

The British National Health Service, Coming to America in the Form of Obamacare

The American Medical Association (AMA) who supported, Obama's Healthcare Legislation, surprising represents only 17 percent of doctors in the US. Its like this old episode of "Yes, Minister", a British comedy that makes fun of the inefficiencies of the National Health Service. In this episode, the employees Union doesn't want to close a hospital with no patients (and no doctors) because it employs 500 deadbeat union employees. Welcome to the future of Obamacare.

With centralized control, the Democrat socialists will insure misery is shared by all...the hard working and the indolent. If your over 78 years old or need a hip replacement, you'll get a walker and some pain pills. If you need a heart bypass, you'll get an oxygen tank and nitro. Remember Sarah Palin was talking about death panels....its in the bill the Communist-in-Chief just signed. Yes my friends, some bureaucrat in the National Health Administration will decide based on your age, health, and/or prognosis. The "panel" provides your doctor guidelines as to whether you (and others like you) are worthy of spending additional money to save your life. This is the essence of a socialist, collectivist healthcare system.

Strange Fainting Spells During Obama Speeches

It hasn't gone unoticed that many people just seem to faint in the presense of the annoited 'one'. However, its starting to look like some gimmick a TV Preacher would use to increase the drama and keep the money dropping into the collection plate. A more recent fainter was later exposed as a guy being dragged out of a healthcare town meeting by five policemen. Initially, it only affected the press, as they wet all over themselves during press conferences...something tingling and warm running down their leg.
