Hate crimes legislation is the next step by Stalinist leftists (Progressives) to stifle free speech in America. Stalin used to throw opponents in mental institutions. In the US, we call it mandatory "sensitivity training". If you're spewing speech the left doesn’t like, you may be a prime candidate for required sensitivity training (or known as reeducation camps in Commie circles).

Unelected judges ruling as tyrants will lead to trouble. If activist judges rule by fiat, and do not stick to strict constructionist principles, we will loose our freedom one ruling at a time.

We've had this kind of thing in America before. The Lincoln administration at one time went so far as to bar the use of the postal system for newspapers that disagreed with his administration. This of course ruined the newspapers. The Lincoln administration went still further and threw newspapermen in jail without charges. As you can imagine, he received great press once this policy went into effect. Too bad they were not clever enough to claim they were only stopping the spread of hate speech, then Lincoln would have been proclaimed a God.

An American conservative commentator was recently threatened in Canada with criminal prosecution for speaking her mind. Progressives are nothing but Stalinist leftists in disguise. They purport freedom of speech, as long as its speech they agree with. The USA isn’t Canada yet, but with judges like Kagan, we are not far away. Religious leaders have much to fear from Progressives gaining further inroads into our government and judiciary.

A racist, member of La Raza (the Race) activist Judge without a doubt. She telegraphed her views when she stated that it was the appellate court's role to establish policy (law). Forget the Constitution and the separation of powers, its now the courts job to write law. Never mind she very plainly said a Latina is smarter than a white man (the only distinction is race in her pronouncement). If racism is evil, then all of it is evil. It's equally obvious that a white judge could not survive the vetting process after making such an offensive statement.

The Republican Senators, Cornyn, Hutchinson, Hatch, all seem soft on stopping this nomination. We should not have much hope that our RINO heros will rise to the occasion. Remember this....the violent street gang Mara Salvatrucha issued orders from federal prison to teach the Minutemen a lesson they will not forget.....then...President Bush called the Minute Men right wing extremists. Attorney General Gonzales, a member of La Raza, sought prosecution of the two 'border guards for shooting a Mexican drug smuggler in the ass. It was the GOP during the Bush administration which supported corporate interests for cheap labor pouring across the border. RINOs are just as interested in Mexican illegal votes as the Democrats. They all make me sick.

We are all much relieved that the SCOTUS overturned the DC handgun ban. However, we were one vote from the court rewriting our Constitution based on their own opinion.

Dumb ass unelected judges have reached out of their box, and have taken over the role of legislators. This is a dangerous trend that will not leave democratic solutions as options, but armed revolution.

Judges would do well to examine there role in our Government and decide to use restraint rather than activism, to give democracy a chance to resolve the issues of the day.
