Social Security and Medicare Are Socialized Charities

The problem with social security and Medicare is that its socialized charity. People on average draw far more out of both than they ever put in, due to rising HC costs and extended life expentency. The sooner we ditch both, the sooner we can return to a sane free market.

I'm still old enough to remember that we used to have insurance only for hopitalization and major surgery. Now you need it to make an appointment with a doctor without going to an ER. Just when in the hell did that happen? We used to be able to afford routine care on a cash basis, until States started requiring insurance companies to cover everything from abortion pills to viagra.

Since the consumer doesn't pay directly, costs have gone out of control, and insurance premuims are bankrupting us. The only ones getting rich are big pharma and insurance companies that made the deal with the Devil, Obama, Reid, and Pelosi. These companies are shearing us like sheep now on the national level, thanks to Obama.

Heres what we do:

1. Repeal Obamacare (and Romneycare) and allow competition between States to buy insurance in any package the consumer wants or can afford.
2. Allow consumers to purchase drugs/prescriptions from any country.
3. Pass rational tort reform so scum sucking ambulance chasers don't add to overhead.
4. Enforce our immigration laws, to remove illegals and discourage others from using our health care system on a pro bono basis.
5. Start moving younger people out of Government run SS and Medicare using generous tax free deductions to IRAs, 401Ks, and Health Savings Accounts.
6. Instead of teaching how to put on a condom, schools need to teach finance and money management and how to save for their future and retirement. In my experience, people learn this to late in life to make much of a difference. We should be a nation of savers and investors, and that is what we should teach our children again....instead of communism.

The British National Health Service, Coming to America in the Form of Obamacare

The American Medical Association (AMA) who supported, Obama's Healthcare Legislation, surprising represents only 17 percent of doctors in the US. Its like this old episode of "Yes, Minister", a British comedy that makes fun of the inefficiencies of the National Health Service. In this episode, the employees Union doesn't want to close a hospital with no patients (and no doctors) because it employs 500 deadbeat union employees. Welcome to the future of Obamacare.

With centralized control, the Democrat socialists will insure misery is shared by all...the hard working and the indolent. If your over 78 years old or need a hip replacement, you'll get a walker and some pain pills. If you need a heart bypass, you'll get an oxygen tank and nitro. Remember Sarah Palin was talking about death panels....its in the bill the Communist-in-Chief just signed. Yes my friends, some bureaucrat in the National Health Administration will decide based on your age, health, and/or prognosis. The "panel" provides your doctor guidelines as to whether you (and others like you) are worthy of spending additional money to save your life. This is the essence of a socialist, collectivist healthcare system.

Strange Fainting Spells During Obama Speeches

It hasn't gone unoticed that many people just seem to faint in the presense of the annoited 'one'. However, its starting to look like some gimmick a TV Preacher would use to increase the drama and keep the money dropping into the collection plate. A more recent fainter was later exposed as a guy being dragged out of a healthcare town meeting by five policemen. Initially, it only affected the press, as they wet all over themselves during press conferences...something tingling and warm running down their leg.

RINO Treachery on the March....Again.

Our old pal Lindsay Graham is back to his old tricks. He has been making several trips to the White House to discuss… guess what? Immigration reform. Yes South Carolina, our favorite RINO is sharpening the knife to slip in the back of the Tea Party movement once the Senate Health Care plan is passed in the House. Remember when the President assured everyone that illegal immigrants would not receive subsidized healthcare? So, in comes the solution, make illegal aliens….well legal. Thank you Lindsay Graham, we thought the era of RINO bipartisanship and Democrat-lite politics were over.

My guess is our favorite RINO is in the pocket of the carpet bagging tourist industry on the South Carolina coast. Michael Steele, what say you about this new bit of treachery baking in the oven?

With Lindsay working with Obama and Rahm, can ‘reach across the aisle’ McCain (McAmnesty) be that far behind? Once McAmnesty secures his race in Arizona, he'll be his old bi-partisan self. McCain has managed to temporarily shut his wife up on supporting gay marriage (and his progressive skanky daughter), but the dam will burst after the 2010 election. Maybe the rumors about Lindsay are...nah.

This was his answer to transparency in Government...finally C-SPAN covering the negotiations. I actually wanted to see his negotiations with the SEIU and UAW. That would have been far more interesting to watch. Now that BO has done his obligatory photo op to create the illusion of bi-partisanship, he is now free to use reconciliation to ram this health care abortion down our throats. I can only hope the arrogance on display during this event will force the American public to kill this bill in the House of Representatives. Get on the phone folks, the Commies are dancing.

Claire McCaskill, just one of the assclowns supporting this abortion of a healthcare bill. Its difficult for me to believe, the State that hosts one of the most visited destinations for Senior Citizens (Branson) would support this horrible bill. This bill guts Medicare, removes Medicare Advantage, and raises deficits and taxes that generations will pay forever. Perhaps, this bill will cause the United States to collaspe entirely. Claire McCaskill is one of 60 Socialists assclowns strangling our Republic. She deserves the scorn of all Patriots.

The remaining GOP Senators need to fight the “Battle of the Alamo”. The courtesy of allowing this vote to move forward without procedural wait times is unacceptable. I realize they want their staffs to get home for Christmas, but this is too important to let go. Everyday they resist, the lame stream media must cover that resistance. Like the Alamo of old, this buys valuable time to build the resistance movement that will sweep Democrats out of office in 2010.No more playing nice. We are dealing with Chicago thugs. This disaster must be repealed.

Not unexpected, that Senator Ben Nelson of Nebraska was finally bought off by one of Harry Reid's backroom deals. These Democrat assclowns are getting ready to change our healthcare delivery system without even reading the bill. They are not Statesmen, but a corrupt gaggle of wheelers and dealers who hide from us the fruits of their evil labor.

Folks, this is it. We have to take a stand now. There won't be time to do it later. The Socialists are succeeding in taking over our banks, auto industry, and now the healthcare system. This type of law was used in Canada and other countries to prevent Christian minister's from objecting to homosexual lifestyles. To speak out against homosexuality can be interpreted as a hate crime in Canada, Sweden, and other places where this attack to free and open debate flourishes. Healthcare....Funny Smackdown of MoveON.org Ad

AARP is trying to kill its current members with its support of Obamacare. Unfortunately, many unhappy AARP members bought 3 year memberships, or even life memberships to this leftwing organization and can't easily leave. The AARP is much like ACORN, SEIU, UAW, Rainbow Coalition, who are hiding their political affiliations using tax free money. This video does a very good job, using edgy humor, to discredit much of what was put forward by MoveOn.org. The Will Ferrel ad was nothing more than cheer leading for the DNC health care bill while demonizing insurance companies. No one argues that health care reform is needed, but a Government takeover will not fix the problem. The GOP has a plan, and it makes sense. Why they didn't address it years ago is a fair question. However, what is important is what is the best thing to do now. In this case, a free market solution is what is needed. Here are some of my ideas:

1. Make it illegal to discriminate for pre-existing conditions. I know, this isn't so 'free market'. However, nothing makes it so difficult or impossible to change jobs or do something more useful in the ecomony than loosing health insurance after a diagnosis. Many patients, who have chronic conditiona that are easily and economically treated, or cancer survivors doing well cannot get insurance on the private market. In many cases, these people are healthier than the undiagnosed population at large because of their new found interests in diet, exercise, and following medical prescriptions. Discriminating against them and favoring undiagnosed walking time bombs doesn't seem right to me. Everyone is one diagnosis away from not being able to buy insurance, so we need to consider whether to continue to exclude these folks to be in the long term interest of our economy.

2. Allow you to shop outside your State for insurance. Nothing lowers costs better than competition. Instead of 10 or less insurance companies to chose from, you have hundreds. You ask yourself why don't States want you to do this? Its really very simple. In primarily BLUE States, the liberal legislatures and insurance regulators require their insurance companies to cover everything from Abortion to Viagra. If you just want hospitalization insurance with a drug prescription component, you can't by it. Some States require insurance policies to cover mental illness...so if you live in those States, your FORCED to subsidize these things whether you want to or not. Your subsidization of those unwanted services makes your insurance premiums sky high. Once again, blame the liberals. Why should your family subsidize Viagra prescriptions because of some geezer's woody problem? I'm just sayin. Sorry geezers, but most of you can afford to buy this stuff out of of pocket or you can buy more expensive insurance to cover it. Don't make the rest of us subsidize it. Folks, out of State shopping will allow you to go around your liberal State legislature and regulators to find a policy that's right for you, and one you can afford. I think, along these lines, we should go to a cash basis for routine care, and have insurance for surgeries, hospitalization, and catastrophic care. When I was growing up, you paid the Doctor directly for checkups, and had insurance for more serious problems. It was a better deal than including routine care inside an insurance premium. If your paying 500-1000 per month for individual/family coverage that includes routine care, what about instead paying 250-500 per month, and a 50-70 dollars cash fee for a Doctor's visit. You'll find its really a better bargain, especially if go one, two, or three times a year.

3. Allow citizens to purchase drugs from other countries. I've heard the safety issue used to thwart this...but do we believe in free enterprise or not? The individual must assume some responsibility if they buy prescription drugs that are not effective. Individual responsibility to evaluate the quality and risks....such a novel, American idea. The nanny State would of course reject this idea, but we must restore competition in the drug market. Many Americans already cross borders to buy meds at reduced cost, and this should be allowed for mail customers as well who do not live in border regions. Let free enterprise reign!!!

4. Reduce costly and endless testing for new drugs. If people wish to take experimental drugs, explain the risks and let them decide. Lets not front load the costs with unbelievably expensive studies that take years/decades to complete....so that when the imperial FDA decides its suitable for consumption...no one can afford it. Come on, no more 300 dollar pills. That insanity must stop. Allow people to decide whats best for them given the truth about the risks of all experimental drugs. Let responsible adults decide for themselves!!!

5. Allow people to deduct the cost of insurance premiums from their income tax. How simple is that? If corporations can do this, why can't individuals? Current law makes no sense.

6. Allow health savings accounts that roll over. Why should you loose money, as it is now, if you don't spend the full amount in a given year? That's ridiculous.

7. Law suit reform (Tort Reform). Lawyers are adding billions in cost to our health care system. We need to hold doctors and hospitals responsible for mistakes, but what is going on now is ludicrous. Yes, people who suffer need to have their medical needs taken care of, and any income losses replaced if they can't work or are disabled. No more jackpot justice. The former Presidential candidate John Edwards made million upon millions of dollars chasing ambulances. Who paid for John Edwards 28,000 square foot mansion and 400 dollar haircuts.....we did. His legal wins were passed on to millions of insurance rate payers in higher premiums. That has to stop. Reasonable compensation yes, jackpot justice....hell no. PS, we also have to do a better job of getting bad doctors out of practice using a National database that will flag and prevent incompetents from crossing State lines after loosing their license.

All of these things will lower insurance cost, and create the free market we need...that doesn't exist today.

Why doesn't some clever reporter ask Obama if the money spent to keep Ted Kennedy alive, given his terminal condition and age, was worth the cost? Isn't this the question Sarah Palin raised in the first place (not about Kennedy, but whether the Democrats want to ration care away from the old an dying)? Or is this Obamacare plan much like the Animal Farm rules, where some "animals" have more rights than others.

"I sat by the coffin for 10 minutes, telling my son how much we loved him and begging him not to be scared. "Officials at the crematorium, run by a local English council, impose an extra charge if any funeral runs over its 30-minute slot. However, the couple's funeral directors said there was plenty of time for the next funeral which was not due to take place for another 50 minutes. Rouse's partner, Lee Smythe, said the fee was "sick and disgusting." Terrie was weeping hysterically," he said. "She just wanted a few extra minutes to say goodbye to our much-loved little boy."The couple's son, Zane, died at five weeks from Sudden Infant Death Syndromeon April 9. The family waited three months before they could have a funeral to allow for tests to be carried out."It was distressing enough having to wait for the funeral because we were left in limbo, but this has just made it all worse," Smythe said.

I recently had a discussion with Dr. C.L. Gray, the Doctor who runs the “Physicians for Healthcare Reform advocacy group. He mentioned a chilling story of a woman under the Oregon state health care system that was fighting cancer. Instead of the chemotherapy that she needed, she was given two options by the bureaucrats who run this system…..1. Hospice care… or….get this…are you sitting down? Option number “2”was Doctor assisted suicide. Yes, believe it or not, they not only invited her to off herself, but compassionately offered to pay for it. This sounds like a fantasy script from the popular series, the Twilight Zone, but unfortunately this sad story isn't make believe.
